You’re probably wondering…why not simply clip your pen or highlighter to your book? If you’re anyone like me, you write a lot in a book and you prefer to read, when standing or sitting on the couch, or even on the toilet. So instead of selling my pen down on my chest or my ear, I designed an printed a holder that clips into any book and hold a pen and highlighter.
I hope you make the connection with the book and phrase designed on the part. Steve Jobs would be proud.
Designed my own 3D printed version of a thumb page holder.
All my favorite pens have the spring end-cap plunger device (or whatever you call it) and I love bringing them loosely in my pocket. So why not develop a solution to the [occasional] problem of them clicking open and staining my favorite pants or shirts. This daily creation was an easy design.
Our toilet flush handle was sticking and wouldn’t return to the top position. In doing so, the water would not stop filling the bowl, leading to a lot of wasted water. The handle “arm” was dragging and grabbing onto the side of the toilet bowl. When I took the nut off and held the handle

I normally design for manufacture on my 3D printer meaning the design itself can be printed without any final touches or modifications. This time however, I added one extra step to the manufacturing process. Using a hairdryer, I bent the flat printed part
I’m sure we’ve all experienced this issue in one form or the other when charging our laptops. This was a simple solution to a rather large inconvenience of mine. Of course, it’s very specific to my laptop cord; however I am working on a more generalized solution for any cord (even USBs) and for multiple
