Halloween Mask Based on AI Image

I had the privilege of working on my first custom build as a gift for someone’s husband back Fall of 2023. She asked me to physically create a mask based on this AI generated image she created. It was a great project that involved lots of surface modeling and therefore lots of fine tuning! Below […]

Arduino Garmin LiDAR Prototyping Base

I designed and built a sturdy, functional base to securely hold the Arduino, Garmin LiDAR sensor, LCD display, and all necessary wiring. This robust foundation enables me to prototype a device that measures the distance to the car ahead and detects changes in its speed, providing critical alerts when the vehicle slows down. The base is specifically engineered to support the components during testing, ensuring stability and ease of use throughout the development process.

Pocket Pen Cover

All my favorite pens have the spring end-cap plunger device (or whatever you call it) and I love bringing them loosely in my pocket. So why not develop a solution to the [occasional] problem of them clicking open and staining my favorite pants or shirts. This daily creation was an easy design.

Mystery Box Activity

Mystery Boxes 📦 an educational tool that you can use in a science classroom. These boxes use a marble placed within, containing internal walls and shapes. Students are tasked with making observations based on what they feel and hear. The activity is a precursor to learning the scientific method and of questioning and making hypotheses.

Toilet Flush Handle Adapter

Our toilet flush handle was sticking and wouldn’t return to the top position. In doing so, the water would not stop filling the bowl, leading to a lot of wasted water. The handle “arm” was dragging and grabbing onto the side of the toilet bowl. When I took the nut off and held the handle

Screen Door Holder

My front door is quite annoying in that it closes so fast behind you. You almost need to jump in sort of like Indiana Jones just to avoid the door hitting your heel. But the real reason for wanting to create something comes from bringing my bike in and out of the house. Therefore this

Window Blinds Fix

Let’s just say so many of them were out of place, but luckily we were only missing one of these: Today’s daily creation was a simple one. I removed one of when current nubs (?)… I’ll call them nubs…and measured a few of its features. As you’ll see, I had to create one simple modification

Mug Cupholder Adapter

This was one project I have been putting off for a long time. You would think that I would have chosen a different coffee cup or designed something by the third time my coffee spilled all over the car console. But no, I have been dealing with spilt coffee or a precarious grip on my

Bathroom Razor Hanger

For this daily creation, I challenged myself to think outside the box. I normally design for manufacture on my 3D printer meaning the design itself can be printed without any final touches or modifications. This time however, I added one extra step to the manufacturing process. Using a hairdryer, I bent the flat printed part
